Beatles Sightings - Paul McCartney at the BRIT Awards
For those who don’t know, the BRIT Awards are an annual celebration of the best of British pop music, much like the American Grammies. This time around, on Wednesday, Paul McCartney was on hand to receive an award for "Outstanding Contribution to Music".
Now, if you’ve got Paul in your show anyway, you might as well let him play. And they did. To the delight of 8000 live audience members and 6.1 million television viewers, Paul played a 15 minute set featuring his new single "Dance Tonight", his classic James Bond theme "Live and Let Die", and Beatles favourites "Hey Jude", "Lady Madonna", and "Get Back".
