Beatles Track - “You’re Going to Lose That Girl” video

The sixth track off the Beatles album “Help!” is “You’re Going to Lose That Girl”. This is yet another John Lennon track about love troubles. Sometimes I wonder if that’s all he ever thought of. This one is lyrically unusually in that John is telling a friend to wise up. John threatens to take his buddy’s girlfriend if he doesn’t treat her well.

In the movie “Help!” the Beatles play this song in the studio. There’s a lot of footage of smoking, and some of Ringo Starr on bongos and Paul McCartney at a piano (though no piano is discernible on the recording).
