Beatles Video - “Get Back” Rooftop Performance

Here’s a classic Beatles event. On 30th January 1969, The Beatles played a set on the roof of Apple Studios. It would be their last live concert as a band. Before the end of the show, the neighbours complained and the police insisted that road manager Mal Evans turn off the amplifiers, which he did. But George turned them back on to finish the set. Billy Preston can be seen in the video, playing organ. Very cool.

I loved John’s ending: “I hope we passed the audition.” Imagine the unhappy neighbors: Passing up the opportunity to hear the Beatles live!

Does anybody know the exact time and date that the lads kicked off their roof top gig…I mean a precise time ?
