Bid on John’s Glasses

British music memorabilia website 991.com is listing an auction for a pair of glasses once owned John. The story goes that in 1966 on their tour of Japan, John befriended translator Junishi Yore and they exchanged gifts.

Reuters reports that while 991 refuses to release figures, bidding is speculated to be in the range of $1.5 million US. Count your quarters; the auction ends 31 July.
