Last week the Daily Telegraph reported that John’s glasses have been sold by online auction house 991.com. Due to confidentiality agreements, 991 has not disclosed who the buyer was or how much was paid, but speculation puts the figure around £1 million.

Wow. One of the most famous pieces of music/Beatle memorabilia. But a million bucks is a big chunk of change for it.
