August 26 - 1968. "Hey Jude" / "Revolution" single released in US.
August 27 - 1967. Brian Epstein dies.
August 28 - 1969. Paul’s daughter Mary is born.
August 29 - 1959. The Quarrymen play at opening night of The Casbah Club, owned by Pete Best’s mother.
August 30 - 1968. "Hey Jude" / "Revolution" single released in UK.
August 31 - 1969. John, George, Ringo and their wives attend Bob Dylan concert at the Festival of the Isle of Wight.
September 1 - 1963. Beatles tape a performance for ABC’s "Big Night Out".
