Programmes From Beatles Christmas Shows Come to the Fore
Way back in December of 2007, when this blog was young, I posted about a Beatles Christmas show from 1963. In April I received an interesting comment to that old post. Neil White wrote:
Remember it well, I saw them in 63 & 64 at the ‘Finsbury Park Astoria’ London, later called ‘The Rainbow’. Only 12 at the time but even at that age I knew I was witnessing the greatest band ever. I still have the concert programs!
Neil and I were in email contact and he sent me this scan of the Beatles show programme. After a couple of hectic months for me, I finally got around to sharing it with the class. Thank you Neil.
It turns out that this same Neil White is involved in the management of an amazing independent British band called The Fore. These four guys write and play all-original songs but in the Merseybeat style of the 1960s that was a major influence on The Beatles. They sound great to me. Be sure to check out The Fore’s website that Neil built, and tell him who sent you.

I also have mint copy of programme for 1964 Beatles Christmas Show at Finsbury Park.
Not signed by Beatles, but autographed by Rolf Harris and Barron Knights who were also on the bill
