Paul made a historic return to Paris’ famous L’Olympia concert hall this week. After playing there in 1964 with The Beatles and in 1972 with Wings, Monday’s sold-out show featured such favourites as “Blackbird,” “Hey Jude,” “Get Back,” and “Eleanor Rigby.” Tickets started at €55 ($78 US). In April 1964, John published his first book, in effect the first solo project of any member of The Beatles. “In His Own Write” is a collection of short stories, doodles and sketches, and random free-form wanderings.
The book was later adapted for the stage in partnership with director Vincent Spinetti.
