This (10th) Week in Beatles History

September 16 - 1963. US single "She Loves You" / "I’ll Get You" is released.
September 17 - 1964. The Beatles play Municipal Stadium in Kansas City.
September 18 - 1964. A bomb threat regarding the band’s plane in Dallas turns out to be a false alarm.
September 19 - 1964. John gives permission for his drawing "The Fat Budgie" to be printed on Christmas cards.
September 20 - 1969. John privately tells the boys that he is leaving the band.
September 21 - 1964. The Beatles return to England after their first major North American tour.
