September 9 - 1971. John’s second solo LP, “Imagine”, is released in the US.
September 10 - 1963. The Beatles meet The Rolling Stones at the Ken Colyer Club.
September 11 - 1962. Recording of the Beatles’ first single, “Love Me Do” / “PS I Love You” is completed.
September 12 - 1966. “Yellow Submarine” / “Eleanor Rigby” single is certified gold in the US.
September 13 - 1965. “Yesterday” / “Act Naturally” single is released in the US.
September 14 - 1966. George and wife Pattie Boyd fly to India for a vacation.
September 15 - 1967. Filming completed for “Magical Mystery Tour”.
