December 23 - 1969. John and Yoko meet Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau in Ottawa.
December 24 - 1965. "Rubber Soul" LP certified gold in US.
December 25 - 1965. George proposes to Pattie Boyd. Two years later on this date, Paul announces his engagement to Jane Asher.
December 26 - 1963. "I Want to Hold Your Hand" / "I Saw Her Standing There" single released in US.
December 27 - 1963. The Times of London names John and Paul the best composers of the year.
December 28 - 1963. New Yorker magazine publishes an interview with Brian Epstein.
December 29 - 1963. "I Want to Hold Your Hand" enters regular rotation on major New York station WMCA.
