This (24th) Week in Beatles Sightings
Ringo made a surprise appearance on New Year’s Eve at a small club in Surrey, England. But he wasn’t alone. He played a three hour set with fellow rock legends Eric Clapton (Cream), Joe Walsh (The Eagles), and Pete Townshend (The Who) as well as Gary Brooker and Andy Fairweather Low.
I wish I had video or photographic evidence. But you can read all about it here from a very excited blogger who was lucky enough to attend and meet the guys backstage.
