August 14 - 1962. Brian Epstein asks Ringo to join The Beatles, replacing Pete Best.
August 15 - 1965. The Beatles play Shea Stadium in NY to a record crowd of 56000 fans.
August 16 - 1962. With Ringo on board, Brian Epstein fires Pete Best.
August 17 - 1962. Pete Best plays his last Beatles show, at the Cavern Club.
August 18 - 1962. Ringo plays his first Beatles shows, at Hulme Hall in Cheshire and at the Cavern Club.
