June 15 - 1964. Ringo Starr plays his first show since being hospitalized on June 3.
June 16 - 1965. Several BBC Radio programmes interview John Lennon about his second published book, A Spaniard In The Works.
June 17 - 1965. In an unprecedented move, nine members of the Order of the British Empire return their honours in protest of The Beatles receiving theirs.
June 18 - 1968. John and Yoko Ono attend the opening of a play based on John’s first book, In His Own Write. It’s the first time the couple appears in public together.
June 19 - 1963. Ringo uses his new Ludwig drum kit at a live show for the first time.
June 20 - 1968. Revolution 9 track is recorded for The White Album.
June 21 - 1964. The Beatles arrive in New Zealand for a week of shows.
