Track - “Things We Said Today”

One of three Paul songs on "A Hard Day’s Night," "Things We Said Today" was written while cruising the Caribbean on a yacht called "Happy Days". The theme is based on his relationship with girlfriend Jane Asher, and how little time the two busy people had together. The vocal is Paul double-tracked. He was always much better at double-tracking accurately than John was. During the bridge the key changes, as does the tempo and style (from ballad to rock and back).
The song was the B-side of the "A Hard Day’s Night" single in the UK.
